Dental hygienist; Part-time

We are looking for a dental hygienist to join our team, part time!

We are a small friendly practice in Brookline MA, and our hygienists have a vital role in promoting patient wellness. Beyond prevention, their role is to educate, diagnose, and work collaboratively towards sustainable health.

• $65 - $70 per hour

• Flexible schedule
• Day shift

Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays or Fridays

8:30am - 5pm 1hour lunch break

• License & Certification:
  Licensed dental hygienist, X-ray / Radiography Certification, Local Anesthesia Certification

Experience:

• Familiarity with dental assisting and medical imaging techniques
• Knowledge of medical records management and HIPAA regulations
• Strong understanding of human anatomy and oral health

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Proficient in using dental software
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
• Take dental x-rays
• Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Administer local anesthesia as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories
