Job DescriptionPosition Overview
To plan and provide instruction to students with social emotional based learning disabilities who require an Extended School Year (ESY), per their Individualized Education Program (IEP).
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Planning for instruction of students to maintain skills and information per IEP
- Supervision of paraprofessionals
- Coordination of related service support
- Assessment and communication of progress with teachers and service providers during ESY and via progress notes at the end of the program
- Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment
- Mass DESE Mod. Disabilities, Prek-8, certification required
- Teaching Experience for Students with Learning Disabilities
- July 6, 2026 - July 30, 2026
- 9:00 - 12:00, Monday - Thursday
- Additional 1-2 days of training prior to start of program
- Additional 30 minutes per day for planning
