POSITION OVERVIEW

To plan and provide instruction/counseling to students with therapeutic learning needs who require an Extended School Year (ESY), per their Individualized Education Program (IEP).

• Collaboration with site coordinator
• Planning and instruction/counseling of students to maintain skills, information, or behaviors per IEP
• Supervision of paraprofessionals
• Coordination of related service support
• Assessment and communication of progress with teachers and service providers
• Written progress reports at end of program

• Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment
• Mass DESE Licensure as a counselor school / psychologist

• Experience with students with emotional and/or behavioral needs

• July 6, 2026 - July 30, 2026
• 9:00 – 12:00, Monday – Thursday
• All staff report for a full day on July 6th for orientation and classroom set‑up. Students begin on July 7th
• Additional 30 minutes per day for planning
• One additional day, to be completed prior to the end of the program, allotted for progress reporting
