POSITION OVERVIEW

In conjunction with the classroom teacher, the SELC paraprofessional supports students with social emotional learning needs to maintain skills over the summer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Facilitate student learning under direction of the classroom teacher
• Support student engagement in activities
• Provide direct instruction as planned by the classroom teacher
• Support social interactions
• Assist with coordination and preparation of materials
• Documentation of skills and/or behaviors as directed by the classroom teacher

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working with students with complex learning profiles highly preferred
• Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment required

SCHEDULE:

• July 6, 2026 - July 3oth, 2026
• 9:00 - 12:00, Monday - Thursday
• Additional 15 minutes per day for planning and developing materials with classroom teacher
• Please note that staff report on July 6, Students begin on July 7
