K-8 RISE / ALC PARAPROFESSIONAL, ESY Program

POSITION OVERVIEW

In conjunction with the classroom teacher, the LAHB paraprofessional supports students and teachers in small groups to maintain skills over the summer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

* Facilitate student learning under direction of the classroom teacher

* Support student engagement in activities

* Provide direct instruction as planned by the classroom teacher

* Support social interactions

* Assist with coordination and preparation of materials

* Documentation of skills and/or behaviors as directed by the classroom teacher

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Experience working with students with complex learning profiles highly preferred

* Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment required

SCHEDULE:

* July 6, 2026 - July 30th, 2026

* 9:00 - 2:00, Monday - Thursday

* Additional 15 minutes per day for planning and developing materials with classroom teacher

* Please note that staff report on July 6, Students begin on July 7
