Job DescriptionPOSITION OVERVIEW
Seeking a licensed special education teacher (moderate, varied grade levels) to plan and provide instruction to students who require an Extended School Year (ESY), per their Individualized Education Program (IEP).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Advanced planning of curriculum
- Communicating with parents
- Coordinating services with related service providers
- Writing progress reports at conclusion of program
- Maintain current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment
- Demonstrated understanding of curriculum modifications and differentiation for a wide variety of students, with a focus on reading, writing and math skills
- Mass DESE Moderate Disabilities certification
- July 7, 2026 - July 30, 2026
- 15‑hour contract total (12 hours direct teaching, 3 hours planning/prep)
