Soule Early Childhood Center – Town of Brookline Recreation Department

The Town of Brookline’s Soule Early Childhood Center is hiring EEC-certified part-time Teachers to join our dynamic and supportive team! We are seeking warm, enthusiastic, and experienced educators who are passionate about working with toddlers and preschool-aged children (ages 15 months – 5 years). At Soule, we honor the unique spirit of each child and educator. Our nurturing and play‑based Montessori/Reggio inspired environment fosters independence, creativity, self‑directed learning, and joy.

Part‑Time Schedule Options (Monday–Friday Required):

• Afternoon Shift: 1:30 PM – 5:15 PM

Applicants must be consistently available Monday through Friday for this afternoon shift.

Qualifications:

• Must hold current EEC Certification (Teacher or Lead Teacher)
• Minimum of 1 years experience working with toddlers and/or preschoolers
• Strong communication skills with children, families, and coworkers
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred

Compensation:

$24.00 – $26.00 per hour, depending on education, certification, and experience. Positions open until filled.
