PART TIME One- Year 9-12 Social Studies Teacher BHS

Job Summary:

• This is a part time position for a 1 year leave.
• Teaching Social Studies classes you are assigned
• Attend department and full faculty meetings
• Participate in Teachers Mentoring Teachers, our induction program for new faculty
• Communicate with families of students
• Attend IEP meetings and provide feedback to support staff about student progress
• Work collaboratively with colleagues on building and sustaining the team curriculum for whatever classes are assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Mass. DESE certification in 9-12 History, Social Studies, or Political Philosophy
• SEI endorsement
• Belief in our mission and core values

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two years teaching experience
• Masters Degree
