We are currently seeking a dedicated, creative, and warm PE teacher for our girls division. This role is ideal for a current graduate student, someone interested in exploring becoming a teacher, or a gig or part‑time worker in the health and fitness sector.
Responsibilities- Create a warm, caring, and safe environment:
Build nurturing relationships with students, and provide age‑appropriate supervision, classroom rules, and routines. - Create and implement lesson plans:
Teach up to 4 periods of PE (depending on availability) to all girls classes in grades 1‑6. - Monitor and communicate student progress:
Provide feedback to students and families on academic, social, and behavioral progress; maintain appropriate records; create two‑way communication channels with families. - Other responsibilities as assigned by the Head of School.
- Prior successful experience teaching middle school math.
- A strong commitment to practicing differentiated instruction.
- A passion for educating children.
- A creative mind that thinks outside the box when it comes to challenging young minds.
Location: Torah Academy is located in Brookline/Brighton, Massachusetts.
Hours: Up to 4 hours weekly, exact dates and times are flexible based on your schedule.
Salary: $6,000‑$7,000, commensurate with experience.
Position Type: Part‑time.

Job Requirements- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
