Per Diem Reading Specialist
MAB Community Services is seeking a Per Diem Reading Specialist to support adolescents and young adults with traumatic brain injuries, neurological challenges, and behavioral health needs at the Ivy Street School.
Responsibilities- Conduct reading assessments
- Provide individualized and small-group literacy instruction
- Develop curriculum materials
- Support IEP goals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support student success
6–10 hours weekly, 2 days weekly in person preferred; other hours can be virtual.
Qualifications- Massachusetts DESE Reading Specialist license required
- Bachelor’s Degree required;
Master’s preferred - Experience working with students with special education or behavioral health needs preferred
