Job Overview
3rd grade General Studies Teacher – Torah Academy, Boys Division
Salary Range: $25,000 - $32,000 per year. Afternoon hours, approximately 14 hours per week.
Torah Academy is more than a school. We are a community built around joyous, authentic Yiddishkeit and genuine care for every child. We value every family and celebrate student successes. Education here is about fostering Jewish pride, love for learning, and sensitivity to others, and importantly, making each student feel mattering.
Torah Academy is a pre‑K–8 school that has served the Boston area for 40 years. Students spend the mornings studying and celebrating Kodesh—including Hebrew, Torah, and Jewish laws and customs. In the afternoons they engage in general studies. Because of the intense morning curriculum students are sophisticated in their thinking; we seek general studies teachers matched to that level of rigor.
Our curriculum is modeled after the public school frameworks, so familiarity with grade‑level secular academic expectations is a plus. Students are separated by gender starting in first grade.
We are currently seeking a 3rd grade general studies teacher for our boys division.
