OverviewIvy Street School is a small, year-round, private residential special education school serving neurodiverse adolescents ages 13–22. As part of MAB Community Services, we are committed to equity, inclusion, and helping young people build the skills they need for independence and adulthood.
What You’ll Do- Support classroom instruction alongside Special Education Teachers
- Provide one-on-one and small-group support aligned with student IEP goals
- Use trauma-informed and positive behavior approaches (ARC, PBIS, CPI)
- Help students build academic, social-emotional, and life skills
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including therapists and nurses
- Lead group activities, electives, and community-based trips
- Support morning routines and residential programming as needed
- Complete basic documentation and participate in team meetings
- $22.28/hour with full-time stability, Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:30pm

- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- Experience working with youth or individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Strong communication, teamwork, and relationship-building skills
- Interest in education, human services, psychology, or special education
- Wilingness to learn and grow in a therapeutic school setting
- CPR/First Aid certification (training provided)
- Background check, drug, and alcohol screening
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, active environment
- Some holiday shifts required
