Job DescriptionThe School Culture and Climate Committee works with the school staffto ensure a safe, respectful school community.
Responsibilities of Committee Members may include:
- Attend regular one-hour monthly meeting
- Identify structures to build and support staff/student relationships
- Promote anti-bullying practices among staff
- Facilitate staff discussions regarding bullying prevention
- Serve as a liaison to other teachers, and communicate information from the Committee meetings
- Serve as a resource to colleagues to make sure staff feel supported in their bullying prevention efforts
- Problem solve school based challenges around student relationships and bullying
Membership:
School-based Educators (No stipend for Principals and Vice Principals, if members of the Committee)
- Stipend: $500 per member
