Overview
Financial Advisor – Client Solutions role at Bank of America. Responsible for providing comprehensive financial advice and customized solutions to clients, triaging leads, recommending brokerage and banking products, and building financial plans to meet clients’ short‑and long‑term goals.
Key Responsibilities- Build short‑ and long‑term financial plans incorporating brokerage products (stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, banking and money‑managed solutions).
- Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client goals.
- Triage client requests, provide referrals to internal service providers based on asset thresholds and client needs.
- Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele.
- Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners on client needs and product recommendations.
- Mitigate and control risk in daily activities.
Complete required licenses and training; maintain compliance with the SAFE Act, including registration and background checks. Failure to maintain SAFE Act registration may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
Required Qualifications- Current Series7 and Series
66 licenses (or Series
63/65 in lieu of 66 with passing score within 60 days). - At least one year of experience in the investments industry, with in‑depth knowledge of investment products and services.
- At least one year of experience in the financial services industry or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
- Proven goal‑setting and achievement skills, strong relationship building, and effective communication with clients.
- Ability to navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast‑paced environment.
- Thoroughness in incorporating regulatory due diligence into daily activities.
- Efficient time and capacity management.
- Strong computer skills and multitasking ability in a demanding environment.
- Additional professional designations, such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC).
- Relevant insurance licenses.
- At least three years of experience in the financial services industry or a sales environment.

Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays.
