The Medical Records Clerk processes release requests, maintains confidentiality, assists the Medical Records Department with clerical functions, and organizes patient charts.
Responsibilities- Preparing charts for patient discharge.
- Setting up medical records for newly admitted patients.
- Facilitating completion of required documents in patient records.
- Following established guidelines for handling patient legal status issues and court documents.
- Maintaining sufficient stock in accordance with departmental needs.

Requirements- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year of clerical experience, preferably in a medical or healthcare environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and follow‑up skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Professional and caring demeanor.
- Basic knowledge of psychiatric and addictive disease diagnosis and treatment terminology.
- Ability to handle moderate stress in meeting deadlines.
