As a member of Bournewood Health Systems’ Outpatient team, a Clinician will offer group therapy, group psychoeducation, case management, individual clinical support, and family therapy, as determined by the needs of an individual case.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform direct clinical services for patients including group therapy and group psychoeducation.
Provide direction to clinical staff as well as counseling services teams.
Document patients’ treatment. Complete and review charts.
Stay up to date on clinical best practices in behavioral health treatment.
Provide crisis intervention and milieu management.
Work across teams to coordinate and monitor discharge planning and continuity of care.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in social work from an accredited school of Social Work or Master’s in Counseling and licensed (LMHC, LCSW,LICSW, LADC, LMFT) or obtaining licensure (pay scale accommodations are considered depending on licensure).Inpatient field placement experience preferred.
Ability to manage a dynamic and sometimes high-risk patient population with professionalism and empathy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) documentation.
Minimum Qualifications:
Requirements include the completion of a Masters Degree in Social Work from an accredited school of Social Work or Masters in Counseling and Licensed eligible (LMHC, LCSW,LICSW, LADC, LMFT) or obtaining licensure in which pay scale accommodations are considered depending on licensure. Inpatient field placement experience is preferred. Health Systems is a behavioral health organization with a main campus in Brookline, MA and various satellite sites in Woburn, Lowell, and Dedham.
