A private household in Brookline, MA is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to join their household team and work alongside an experienced housekeeper already employed by the family. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping a home clean, organized, and running smoothly. The family is happy to train the right candidate on their routines and standards, making this an excellent opportunity for someone with solid housekeeping experience who is looking to continue growing in a private home setting.

• At least 21 years old
• 1–3+ years of professional housekeeping experience (private home or hospitality experience welcomed)
• Strong, verifiable references
• Knowledge of proper care for household surfaces and laundry
• Non-smoker
• Reliable, punctual, and professional

• Work alongside the family's experienced housekeeper to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming home
• Perform thorough daily and deep cleaning of all living spaces
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas (6 bedrooms & 6 bathrooms)
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize all surfaces
• Organize closets, storage areas, and household systems
• Make beds and manage linens with hotel-level presentation
• Monitor and restock household supplies

• Demonstrate knowledge of fabric types, detergents, and proper washing techniques
• Identify and treat stains using appropriate stain removal methods
• Hand-wash delicate items and care for specialty fabrics (silk, wool, cashmere, etc.)
• Maintain organized wardrobes
• Coordinate with dry cleaners when necessary

They are eager to learn the family's routines and are comfortable working alongside an experienced colleague while taking ownership of their responsibilities. The successful candidate will work alongside the family's long‑term housekeeper, sharing responsibilities to keep the home running smoothly. • Compensation: $35–40/hour BOE (taxes withheld)
