Salary$50-60k depending upon the experience and qualifications.
PositionsPart Time, Per-Diem, Full Time, Flexible Hours.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Conduct in-home assessments and ensure that patient care meets regulatory and company standards.
- Oversee compliance with state and federal home health regulations, including documentation and reporting requirements.
- Supervise and manage the home care nursing team, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance.
- Provide guidance and support to nurses and caregivers to ensure the highest level of patient care.
- Manage scheduling and ensure adequate staff coverage for all home care cases.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – Must hold a valid and unrestricted RN license in the state of operation.
- CPR Certification
- Reliable Car, Driver's License and Auto Insurance (Preferred)
- At least 2-3 years of experience in home health, hospice, or skilled nursing.
- Proficient in administering and overseeing IV infusions, including medications, hydration, and TPN.
- Provide wound care including dressing changes, infection prevention, and Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT/Wound VAC).
- Sales & Business Development Mindset – Ability to attract and retain clients and collaborate with referral partners.
- Leadership & Management – Supervise, train, and mentor nurses, aides, and caregivers.
- Care Plan Development – Create and oversee patient care plans, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Quality Assurance & Risk Management – Auditing, incident reporting, and compliance with policies.
- Problem-Solving & Decision-Making – Handle staffing issues, patient concerns, and operational challenges.
- Flexibility & Availability – Comfortable with on-call responsibilities and responding to emergencies.
- Home Health or Private Duty Nursing Experience – Familiarity with Bright Star Care’s business model.
As the Home Care Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a crucial role in managing the clinical operations of our home care services.
