About This Role
The Nurse Manager at the Fish Center for Women's Health is responsible for directing, planning, and coordinating nursing service activities to ensure quality patient care. This role is ideal for a leader who excels in clinical operations and team collaboration.

Full-Time, Day shift
- Direct, delegate, and monitor quality of care delivered by the health care team.
- Ensure the development, implementation, and evaluation of staff onboarding, training, and education.
- Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback for staff.
- Ensure a positive work environment that is safe for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Coordinate unit activities with other hospital departments.
- Develop and implement staffing plans.
- Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff and medical assistants.
- Manage changes in Nurse/MA staffing schedule and adjust resources as needed.
- Collaborate with nursing and practice leadership in setting quality standards for nursing care.
- Provide evidence-based, clinically competent nursing care in a culturally sensitive manner.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required;
Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
Experience:
- 2-3 years of nursing experience required.
- 1-2 years of nursing leadership experience preferred.
- Primary Care or ambulatory experience in a clinical nursing or leadership position preferred.
Licenses &
Certifications:
- Registered Nurse in Massachusetts required.
- Certification required at start or within 2 years of start date;
Ambulatory / ANCC certification preferred. - Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate preferred.
