Endoscopy Triage Nurse BWH

About This Role

The Endoscopy Triage Nurse plays a key leadership role in supporting staffing schedules to optimize patient throughput, primarily through phone triage and patient communication. This position is ideal for candidates with strong GI knowledge and experience, who can work autonomously and collaboratively in a hybrid healthcare environment.

• Location: Brookline, MA
• Facility: The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc.
• Schedule: Part-Time, Rotating
• Pay: $41.71 - $105.65/Hourly

• Triage clinical questions and concerns received via telephone calls and in-basket messaging.
• Provide clinical guidance, education, and support to patients based on assessment findings and established protocols.
• Coordinate patient care by collaborating with the scheduling team for endoscopic procedures.
• Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to promote seamless communication and continuity of care.
• Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of patient encounters and communications.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required

• Minimum of 5 years of recent clinical endoscopy nursing experience
• Minimum of 2 years of procedural endoscopy conscious sedation administration
• Minimum of 2 years of recent triage experience managing outpatient and/or inpatient endoscopy patients
• Demonstrated leadership experience in staff scheduling and workflow coordination
• Proven charge nurse or resource nurse experience in an Endoscopy setting

• Registered Nurse (RN) - Massachusetts License
