Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Interventional Pain

Boston Children's Hospital seeks a Pediatric Interventional Pain Nurse Practitioner to provide advanced clinical care to children with acute and chronic pain. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and manage pain treatment plans, perform and assist with interventional procedures, and coordinate multidisciplinary care with physicians, therapists, and psychologists. You will educate patients and families, support research and quality improvement, and contribute to our collaborative, mission-driven environment dedicated to pediatric innovation and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pediatric pain assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Manage acute and chronic pain using pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic modalities
• Assist with and manage pre- and post-care for interventional pain procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, psychologists, and other team members
• Educate patients and families on pain management strategies and care plans
• Document care in the EHR and ensure high-quality, evidence-based practice
• Participate in research, quality improvement, and protocol development initiatives
• Support a compassionate, family-centered care environment aligned with hospital values
