Job Summary

Welcome Liaisons are student positions serving Brooklyn Center Middle and High School (BCS). The role supports a welcoming, efficient and effective environment for newly enrolled students, families and substitute teachers, ensuring access to school resources and programs.

Location: Brooklyn Center Middle/High School

Date Available: Immediate

• Aids BCCS and the BCS 21st Century Community Learning Center in achieving their goals and mission by fostering positive school and center climates.
• Welcomes newly–enrolled students to the school and supports their transition to the guidance team.
• Welcomes the families of newly–enrolled students, providing them with information on available resources.
• Provides building tours.
• Supports substitute teachers by preparing their materials and offering tours of the school, ensuring general needs are met.
• Supports access to 21st CCLC programming by recruiting participants.
• Supports the responsiveness and quality of 21st CCLC programming by assisting with program evaluation.
• Participates in BCS Full Service Community Schools Leadership Team meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Dates: Position is available through the first week of LEAP Summer Program, 2025

Days and Times: Shifts available Monday through Friday, 8:00‑8:40 am
