Teacher – Early Childhood Special Education (Long Term Substitute, September 2026 – January 2027)

Location: Osseo Ind School District, 279 Willow Lane Early Education Center – Brooklyn Center, Minnesota

Starting Date: September 11, 2026

To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning. Provide instruction and support in the curriculum areas or program for which employed including writing and implementing individual scholar goals and objectives, evaluating scholar performance according to the goals on the Individual Educational Plan (IEP), promoting scholar achievement, maintaining required scholar records, making related reports to licensed administrators as authorized, maintaining contact and communication with guardians/caregivers, performing classroom management duties, enforcing district rules governing conduct, and understanding and implementing due process guidelines following state and federal rules, regulations and district policy.

Provide in‑person, synchronous, and asynchronous learning when applicable; work collaboratively with others and be willing to participate in district, building, department or program leadership activities.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• MN teaching license in Early Childhood Special Education, OR a valid MN teaching license in another field and willingness to obtain an out‑of‑field permission.
• If not currently licensed, must be willing and eligible to apply for and receive a Tier 1 or Tier 2 license.
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
