PLC Facilitator; Sites

Position: PLC Facilitator Job Description/Responsibilities:

• Serve for a one-year commitment
• Report to District Quality Compensation Program Coordinator and site principal
• Facilitate PLC meetings
• Maintain and share notes for all PLC meetings which include: attendance, salient discussion points, decisions made, next steps, person(s) responsible for next steps, and timeline
• Attend PLC facilitator training and support meetings
• Provide ongoing leadership and mentorship to PLC members through the role of PLC facilitator throughout the year
• Complete job performance self-reflection rubric and share with District Quality Compensation Program Coordinator and site administration leader prior to the year-end post-inquiry conference

• Ability to plan, guide, and manage group processes
• Group-based problem solving and decision making techniques
• Motivational abilities
• Objectivity

• District continuing contract license staff, if no such qualified applicant, then non-continuing contract licensed staff
• Demonstrated ability to apply and utilize an equity lens to their work as an educator
• Ability to plan, guide, and manage group processes
• Group-based problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Desire to motivate colleagues toward achievement of common goal(s)
• Demonstrated teaching proficiency
