Technical Tester

The Technical Tester is responsible for setting up, validating, and maintaining test systems used in the production and validation of assemblies, components, and automated test stations. This role requires strong hands‑on experience with software validation, controls automation, and medical device compliance standards. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure reliable, compliant, and efficient test operations.

• Set up test apparatus and conduct testing of production assemblies and units in accordance with established methods, procedures, standards, and sequences.
• Assemble and configure production equipment based on engineering designs and technical specifications.
• Support customer resources with software and process validation across a range of test stations, from fully automated systems to operator‑based stations involving software and tooling.
• Adjust, calibrate, and validate test systems to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Modify test and production equipment by adding, removing, or altering components based on approved diagrams, schematics, and sketches.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions through adjustment or replacement of components, escalating complex issues as required.
• Perform routine and non‑routine testing using automated and manual test equipment in alignment with engineering specifications.
• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, calibrate, and perform preventive maintenance on test systems and related equipment.
• Diagnose and isolate product or test setup issues, support root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Accurately document test results, observations, and deviations in designated systems, logs, or reports.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues and implement process improvements.
• Assist in training technicians and operators on test procedures, systems, and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures, including maintaining a clean and organized workspace in accordance with 5S principles.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 8–10 years of relevant hands‑on experience in a technical testing or manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with Software Validation and Controls Automation equipment

• Working knowledge of medical device regulatory and quality standards
  , including ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820

• 8+ years of experience in metallurgical, electronic, mechanical, or related technical disciplines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross‑functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with LabVIEW

• Familiarity with Solid Works and 3D printing technologies

• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
