About the Role
Client is seeking an experienced Network Implementation Engineer II to support OSP network design, financial processes, and regulatory coordination across multiple projects. This role manages engineering requests within an assigned geographic area and collaborates with internal teams, vendors, and municipalities officials to ensure smooth project execution.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and update Engineering Work Orders for new builds, upgrades, and fiber deployments (FTTN, FTTH, FTTT, etc.).
- Review design prints and redlines; apply corrections to ensure accuracy and construction readiness.
- Develop OSP designs in 3
GIS and utilize tools such as AutoCAD/CAD systems, Ivalua, Netsuite, Sitetracker, and Microsoft Office. - Process invoices, validate financial documentation, and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with vendors, developers, builders, and municipalities on project requirements and timelines.
- Engage with city departments to secure permits and ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and relevant experience.
- 3 to 5 years of telecommunications, engineering, or network planning experience.
- Strong proficiency with engineering systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with internal and external partners.
Required Skills
- Technical design proficiency (3
GIS, OSP engineering tools, redline review). - Strong communication and collaboration with vendors, city officials, and internal teams.
- Detail-oriented and organized with strong multitasking abilities.
