Hiring:
Sr. Process Engineer – Medical Device Manufacturing Type: W2 contract
Duration: 12+ Month Contract
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Process Engineer to support advanced manufacturing and welding process development for medical devices.
KeySkills Required:
- Process Development, Validation, and Continuous Improvement
- DOE (Design of Experiments), Root Cause Analysis, DMAIC, and Statistical Analysis
- Laser Welding, Resistance Welding, Micro-Welding, or Similar Joining Processes
- Medical Device or Other Highly Regulated Industry Experience
- Process Qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), CAPA, and Engineering Documentation
- Minitab, SPC, and Manufacturing Process Optimization
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration with Quality, Operations, and R&D Teams
- Develop, optimize, and qualify welding/joining manufacturing processes
- Execute process validations, data analysis, and technical documentation
- Lead process improvement and cost‑reduction initiatives
- Support new product introductions and transfer processes into production
- Investigate process issues and drive corrective actions
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related Science field
- 5+ years of Process/Manufacturing Engineering experience
- Hands‑on experience with laser welding, resistance welding, battery/capacitor manufacturing, or related thermal joining technologies.
