Engine Disassembly

• Engine Disassembly:Perform full or partial teardowns of complex diesel engines using impact wrenches, air chisels, and specialized hand tools according to established SOPs.
• Safe Component Handling:Operate overhead hoists, lifts, and carts to transport heavy engine components to cleaning stations while strictly adhering to safety protocols.
• Quality Assurance:Execute meticulous inspections during disassembly to identify and document core component integrity.

  Partner with fellow technicians to optimize production flow and consistently meet daily output goals.
• Workspace Stewardship:Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with 5S and safety regulations.
• Shipping & Receiving: Load and unload flatbeds and freight trucks safely using a forklift.
• Material Handling:Pull raw materials from the warehouse and deliver them to production areas.
• Inventory Control:Maintain accurate, real-time inventory records within our ERP system.

• 1+ year of mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools (e.g., impact wrenches, drills, torque guns).
• Ability to stand for 8 hours and repetitively lift up to 70lbs.
• Strong communication skills and a "Right the First Time" quality mindset.

  Prior experience with diesel engine teardown or assembly.

Fast
-paced,hands-on manufacturing setting. The environment on the shop floor is usually loud, hot and humid in the summer months and involves standing on cement floors with exposure to chemicals and metal particles. PPE is always required on manufacturing floor.
