Manufacturing ​/ Production Technician, Manufacturing Engineer

Automation, Inc. is looking for a Value-Added Technician. Automation is a value-added stocking distributor. We are looking for a technician to design and problem solve electrical and pneumatic assemblies.

• Custom work-varies from project to project
• Completing building of materials to the customer's specifications in a timely manner.
• Assemble electrical and pneumatic systems, wiring, soldering, panel assembly
• Test completed assemblies for function and quality
• Be able to read prints and complete BOM's
• Pull/prep parts for assembly
• Repetitive assemblies
• Experience with layout
• Pulling parts
• Ideal candidate will have experience documenting new BOM's using Turbo CAD for wiring diagrams.

• A sound knowledge of engineering design principles
• Strong attention to detail
• Work independently
• Good numeracyand computer skills
• Good communication and organizational skills
• An understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods
• Good problem-solving skills
• The ability to work as part of a team
• The ability to meet deadlines
• Managing multiple projects
• Able to lift 50 lbs.

• Minimum 2 year Associates Degree in Fluid Power or electrical/pneumatic background
• Industrial machine design knowledge-experience helpful
