Overview
Full‑time nocturnal Nursing Assistant with a core schedule of 10 p.m. – 6 a.m., based at Presbyterian Homes & Services (PHS) in Brooklyn Center, MN.
Key focus: providing compassionate care to older adults in a faith‑based community that prioritizes the needs of residents.
Responsibilities- Perform ADLs as scheduled and assist Resident Assistants while complying with regulations and best practices.
- Monitor changes in residents’ condition.
- Transfer and assist residents with mobility using gait belts, mechanical lifts, and other methods.
- Ensure residents are cared for with dignity.
- Care‑giving experience preferred; no experience applicants considered.
- To work in long‑term care, a Nursing Assistant certification is required; assisted living does not require certification.
- Demonstrated compatibility with PHS mission and operating philosophies.
- Commitment to work every other weekend and scheduled holidays.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Estimated starting pay range: $22.60 – $24.25 per hour. Actual pay depends on qualifications and market conditions.
