Classification: Union 663 Classified Assistant
Rate of Pay: $32.33 per hour
Hours: Sunday – Saturday, varied hours

- Fill and rotate cases and displays (may involve lifting up to 50 lbs) while maintaining appropriate shrink.
- Assist with receiving products and merchandising to keep shelves full and product fresh.
- Prioritize and establish work lists to maintain a steady amount of work for employees.
- Ensure all Produce employees are following store standards and know COOL.
- Create and manage weekly work schedules for the entire team.
- Train and develop future Produce Managers.
- Help maintain a clean and sanitary store.
- Work with the team on all tasks necessary to have an awesome department.
- Friendly and outgoing, promoting customer service for the entire team.
- Experience in a produce position (2–3 years preferred).
- Knowledge of preparing pre‑cut fruit, following crisping programs for greens, and displaying product.

Physical RequirementsFrequent: 15% or more of the shift or at least ten repetitions per shift. Includes lifting/carrying up to 60 lbs, pushing/pulling up to 30 lbs, equipment operation (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine), reaching, standing, turning, walking.
Occasional: Less than 15% of the shift or fewer than ten repetitions per shift. Includes lifting/carrying over 50 lbs, equipment operation (calculator), squatting, stooping/bending.
Environmental: Exposure to cold temperatures and wet surfaces may occur.
