Facilities Maintenance Tech III

Location:

Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, United States of America.
Salary: $59,200.00 – $88,800.00 (USD).

Hours:

Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. The position is onsite at the Brooklyn Center facility.

• Perform daily operation, preventive maintenance, and repairs of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life safety, and fire protection systems.
• Maintain and operate equipment that supports a variety of operations, working closely with senior mechanics for guidance and prioritization.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment.
• Execute work in maintenance trades such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, and electrical.
• Perform routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine required repair and maintenance work to prevent breakdowns.
• Use hand and power tools as needed.
• Test, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair machines and equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.

• Must Haves
• High School Diploma and 4+ years of facilities experience.
• Boiler License.
• Nice to Have
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
• Experience with wastewater treatment systems and RO/DI water systems.
• Electrical experience.
• General knowledge of dock door repairs.
• General knowledge of paint, sheetrock, and concrete repair.
• Knowledge of air compressors.
• Knowledge of material handling vehicles.
• Knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Knowledge of fire/life safety systems.
• International baccalaureate or equivalent meeting 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) requirements.
