We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on Installation Technician who takes pride in quality work and enjoys seeing a project come together.

As an Installation Technician, you’ll be part of the team that brings our clients’ workplaces to life. You’ll deliver, assemble, and install furniture and architectural products at customer locations while helping ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

What You’ll Do

As an Installation Technician, you’ll work alongside Senior Technicians and other members of the installation team to:

  • Bring projects to life by installing and assembling furniture and related products according to plans and project specifications.
  • Take ownership of your work
    , completing assigned tasks accurately and following through from start to finish.
  • Deliver quality craftsmanship by consistently meeting installation standards and paying attention to the details.
  • Solve problems in the field by adapting to changing jobsite conditions and communicating changes or concerns to the Senior Technician.
  • Perform technical installation work
    , including wall track installation, field measuring, product repairs, simple field cuts, and product modifications.
  • Read and work from installation plans
    , including floor plans, elevations, renderings, and basic electrical schematics.
  • Coordinate effectively on active jobsites
    , including staging materials, using tools properly, and working alongside other trades.
  • Protect our customers’ spaces and property
    , including buildings, equipment, furniture, and other materials.
  • Care for company equipment
    , including company-issued tools, equipment, and vehicles.
  • Keep jobsites safe, clean, and organized throughout the installation process.
  • Create an exceptional customer experience by responding professionally to on-site requests and consistently working to meet or exceed customer expectations.

Requirements

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, professional, motivated, and ready to contribute to a high-performing installation team.

You’ll be successful in this role if you:

  • Understand installation scopes of work, processes, and quality standards.
  • Can read and interpret floor plans, elevations, and renderings.
  • Understand basic installation processes, including loading and unloading, staging, panel and component assembly, detailing, cleanup, and lock installation.
  • Can properly install major furniture lines or have the mechanical aptitude and willingness to develop these skills.
  • Are interested in developing proficiency with demountable wall systems.
  • Have a basic understanding of electrical schematics and systems-furniture electrical components.
  • Take pride in your workmanship and pay attention to the details.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.
  • Bring a strong work ethic and are punctual, dependable, and self-motivated.
  • Are comfortable working in an active, physical jobsite environment.
  • Are able to work extended shifts and occasional after-hours schedules when projects require it.

Job Requirements

Because this is a hands-on installation position, candidates must:

  • Be able to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds
    .
  • Have the physical strength and stamina needed to move furniture, boxes, equipment, and materials throughout the workday.
  • Have a valid driver's license
    .
  • Be able to successfully complete a criminal background screening.
  • Follow all OSHA safety requirements and actively contribute to a safe working environment.
