TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for Labor and Delivery in Brooklyn, Maryland.

• Provide care and support for women before, during, and after delivery of a baby.
• Assist physicians with epidural and pain medication administration, episiotomies, and cesarean deliveries.
• Monitor patient throughout labor; monitor contractions and breathing techniques.
• Check cervix periodically to assess progression of labor.
• Maintain sterile environment; keep labor beds clean and dry; clean up bodily fluids.
• Aid physicians with drapes, gloves, gowns, delivery instruments, etc.
• Provide immediate care of newborns.
• Stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for long periods; lift up to 20 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds at times.
• Cope with high-stress situations; relate to patients of all ages and backgrounds.

• BLS, NRP, EFM, STABLE certifications required.
• Minimum 3 years recent acute care experience.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend determined at assignment.
