The City of Pipestone is seeking someone to serve as an Administrative Assistant for the Park and Recreation Department at the Ewert Recreation Center. This position works directly with the public and requires excellent customer service and clerical skills. Daily responsibilities include assisting with office and secretarial needs at the Ewert Rec. Center and Outdoor Aquatic Center, completing daily bank deposits, processing program and membership registrations, maintaining facility rentals, and performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications preferred for this position include an associate’s degree in accounting, business management or related field and three years’ relevant experience. Experience working with Microsoft Office products, Civic Rec, Facebook, and Google Docs is preferred.

Full-Time
, FLSA non-exempt position with excellent benefits
. Typical hours of work are Monday – Friday 5:00am to 1pm. Schedule may also require working nights, weekends, and holiday hours on an as needed basis.

Beginning wage is $24.04 per hour. 2026 Wage Range $24.04 - 32.10 per hour.
