We are looking for an independent and ambitious, commercially focused Product Manager to join the Nilfisk Americas Product Management Team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and execution of GTM strategy, bring new solutions to market and influence future innovation within Nilfisk’s Walk-Behind Floorcare Portfolio.

As Product Manager, you will be an integral part of Nilfisk’s strategic journey from a product‑oriented manufacturing company to a customer‑driven global organization, where investments in new technologies and the intelligent use of data will enable us to better meet our customers’ demands. You will have the opportunity to work across a wide range of commercial disciplines – e.g., go‑to‑market strategies, product portfolio innovation, application expertise, product launches, and various strategic initiatives with the assigned business segments.

This Role You Will Get To:
  • Influence global walk‑behind scrubber and sweeper product & service portfolio innovation pipeline
  • Contribute to building regional GTM strategy and sales execution playbook
  • Create and execute regional launch of new products in collaboration with key functions
  • Collaborate with sales to understand and meet customer demands in large opportunities
  • Develop segment and market specific business cases for new products & services
  • Build customer intimacy working directly with users/customers, distributors, industry experts and sales management
  • Create and deliver sales training by utilizing application expertise and time in field
  • Champion cross‑functional activities to maximize overall product line performance including revenue growth, margin improvement, cost reduction, quality and delivery
  • Monitor and assess competitive products and programs, then subsequently develop and implement proactive strategies to strengthen the product line’s competitive edge
  • Monitor and analyze sales and profitability across markets, channels and product groups

With the above key tasks your playground spans over the whole value chain from back‑to‑front and you are the go‑to‑person regarding your product category. You will have to manage multiple stakeholders both internally and towards direct and indirect customers which requires great stakeholder management skills.

You Have:
  • 6+ years of Product Management or related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering or Business; MBA preferred
  • Demonstrated experience driving successful new product launches
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including strong active listening skills
  • Demonstrated skills to analyze, interpret and draw meaningful and accurate conclusions from data
  • Proven ability to conduct Voice of the Customer and define customer needs
Further, the right candidate has:
  • An analytical and structured approach to problem solving
  • A high level of drive; motivated by seeing the implementation and results of your work
  • Ability to manage tasks simultaneously while maintaining focus and a positive attitude
  • Ability to balance working hands‑on to execute and deliver on your own projects as well as thinking long‑term to establish future strategies and plans for growth
  • Capability and willingness to travel as needed (about 15‑20%)

This is a hybrid role located at Nilfisk Americas Headquarters in Plymouth, MN and will report to the Director of Product Management, Americas.
