** You’ll share and promote best practices across the entire company while developing deep expertise and close client relationships. You’llalsocollaboratewithinternal partnerswhouse world class sourcing tools and processes, buildtotal cost of ownership financial models,ensure contract & catalog management,and deliveroperationalleadership in order to optimize leverage for Target.
** Position Description
** In the role of
** Strategic Sourcing Contracts Lead**, you will support Target’s Procurement organization by providing timely guidance to our team & our internal business partners, and will support our contract negotiations with Target’s indirect (non-retail) vendors. Contract negotiations involve multiple contract types, including non-disclosure agreements, goods and services agreements, consulting agreements, and technology agreements (including hardware agreements, software licensing agreements, and software-as-a service (SaaS) agreements).  

You will act as a liaison to Target’s Law department and other enterprise teams, and will play an integral role in driving change and achieving successful contract negotiations, with speed and agility, while balancing between contract risks and business goals.
** Additional Duties and Responsibilities
*** Create and provide written, virtual, and in-person contract training and self-help tools
* Ensure contract templates and resources are up to date in contract management systems
* Develop and implement best practices for contract management and administration in compliance with applicable policies, and influence those policies as appropriate
* Collaborate with other enterprise teams to ensure contracts contain appropriate terms and adhere to any compliance measures
* Negotiate with vendor representatives, as appropriate
