The IT Product Manager plays a key role in the evolution of Caribou Coffee’s consumer-facing digital channels, including and Caribou’s mobile apps. This individual leverages data and user research to identify solutions that create best-in-class experiences for our customers and maximize benefit to the organization. This role is the liaison between stakeholders, software engineers, stores, third parties, and customers to envision & execute roadmaps that exceed the company’s objectives.
Core Responsibilities:- Define & drive a digital experience roadmap to meet business goals and drive KPIs
- Work within an agile framework to optimize & manage limited resources, such as developers & designers, to support the primary objectives of multiple projects
- Advance Caribou’s digital capabilities across all platforms, including & our mobile apps, to ensure company objectives are improved by a constantly changing tech stack
- Develop supporting business cases, including financial impact and benefits statements
- Champion the needs of consumers, business teams, and stakeholders from the inception of an idea through release & post-launch support
- Make data-informed product decisions with qualitative and quantitative research
- Execute plans with engineering, design, analytics, and product peers to coordinate efforts, identify interdependencies, and maintain consistency across projects
- Identify and interact with cross-department stakeholders to ensure all solutions improve guest experience while remaining financially beneficial
- Participate & lead various agile ceremonies to keep teams highly engaged & effective
- Partner closely with teams and vendors to build premium experiences that address specific user pain points and business goals

- Have a strong respect for the importance of digital privacy & digital security, and remain diligent to push forward those best practices while launching new & improving existing features
- Understand the challenge of “build versus buy”, including the ability to assess vendors for capabilities to augment Caribou’s existing offerings
- Appreciate the complexity of others’ roles, such as Developers & Designers, while understanding the ways to encourage peers to elevate their solutions
- Demonstrates the ability to solve problems, think critically, and make timely decisions
- Results-driven, proven sense of urgency, and demonstrates strong initiative towards business needs
- Possesses a clear and engaging communication style rooted in a desire to understand others and co-create solutions
- Skilled in working with cross-functional teams to create results, resolve issues, and align across the organization
- Ability to inspire creative solutions and thrive in an ambiguous environment
Required:
- 5+ years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst or Product Manager
- Experience with the agile development methodology
- Excellent collaboration and presentation skills
- Self-starter who is comfortable and effective in times of uncertainty and ambiguity
- Ability to balance multiple objectives, projects, and goals
Strong analytical, prioritization, problem-solving, and negotiating skills
