Minimum Qualifications- Associate degree from an automated systems and mechatronics, electrical/mechanic systems or fluid power program.
- Four full‑time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in automated systems and mechatronics, electrical/mechanic, or fluid power.
- One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application.
- Recruit may waive recency if two years of successful full‑time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within last five years.
- Course construction (credit course)
- Teaching/instructional methods (credit course)
- Student outcomes assessment/evaluation (credit course)
- Philosophy of community and technical college education (credit or non‑credit course)
- Faculty shall have a degree in education or three years of successful full‑time teaching experience prior to being hired, or shall be required to complete coursework in the above content areas before being granted unlimited status.
- These courses shall be waived for individuals who at the time of hire have: a degree in education, or documented evidence of successful completion of equivalent coursework, or three years of successful, full‑time teaching experience in the field.

- Experience in Programming Robots and Cobots, including FANUC Robots and Universal Robotics
- Experience with VFDs and Servo motors
- Experience in troubleshooting PLCs utilizing Allen‑Bradley products
- Experience integrating Robotic Systems, Vision Systems, VFD’s and PLC Systems
- Experience with Electrical Schematic reading, application, and drawing
- Experience with Packaging Machinery and/or Process controls
- Experience in troubleshooting Mechanical and Electrical Systems
This position will primarily be evenings and afternoons, located at the Eden Prairie Campus.
