Position
Coaching Positions – Head Speech Coach
LocationStillwater Area High School
Purpose of the ActivityTo prepare students for competitions and performances. Develop lesson plans and training sessions to enhance students' speech skills.
Provide constructive feedback to students to improve their performance.
Qualifications for the Job- Connection to a high school community
- Communicate with high school students
- Be supportive to high school students
- Education degree and/or counseling
- Previous speech coaching experience preferred
General Duties and Responsibilities
General Duties and Responsibilities- A. Planning and leading practice sessions
- B. Creating strategies to prepare/lead students for competitions
- C. Provide feedback and coaching at practices/competitions
- D. Follow District #834 Code of Ethics for Advisors.
Weeks: 18 (16 hours per week).
After School/Saturday – As assigned by the head speech coach.
Public PerformanceScheduled competitions.
Salary (Points)Co-Curricular points total structured in the SCEA Master Contract.
