We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Special Education Teacher to join our dynamic educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse learning needs, including those with disabilities, to help them achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to the specific needs of each student.
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create a cohesive and supportive educational experience.
Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and instructional materials to address the diverse needs of students with varying abilities.
Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting instructional techniques and strategies as needed.
Create a positive and respectful classroom environment that fosters inclusion and encourages students to take risks in their learning.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of student performance, behavior, and progress toward IEP goals.
Provide ongoing communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress, challenges, and successes.
Participate and lead IEP meetings, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Stay updated on best practices and legal requirements related to special education.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.
Valid teaching certification/license in Special Education.
Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
Strong understanding of various disabilities and the impact on learning.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
Patience, empathy, and a commitment to advocating for and supporting students with diverse needs.
Knowledge of assistive technology and adaptive teaching methods.
Experience in behavior management and intervention strategies.
Familiarity with specialized curricula and instructional resources.
