- Develop and modify detailed 3D CAD models using Siemens NX
. - Work efficiently with large assemblies
, ensuring accuracy and design integrity. - Utilize Joints and Couplers functionality within NX to build kinematic models.
- Design and model routed systems (e.g., hoses, cables, wiring paths).
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and integration.
- Support component packaging and layout within vehicle platforms.
- Optional but beneficial:
- Perform “A-side” surfacing for exterior or aesthetic surfaces.
- Apply experience with automotive door assemblies or similar mechanisms.
- Proficiency in Siemens NX (expert-level preferred).
- Hands‑on experience with large assembly modeling
. - Strong capability in building kinematics models using Joints and Couplers.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
- “A-side” surfacing experience.
- Prior work with automotive door assemblies or related mechanical systems.
