NSM Senior Engineer

• Design and implement advanced security solutions, collaborating seamlessly with software and security engineers.
• Enhance current configuration management and orchestration frameworks by identifying improvement areas.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity stakeholders to refine security visibility measures against network threats.
• Deliver complex engineering projects autonomously while optimizing operational efficiency and security.
• Document and diagram engineering solutions comprehensively for clear communication.

• Significant experience in network engineering or visibility architecture, with expertise in Linux system administration.
• Proficiency in configuration management and orchestration tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and foundational network security concepts.
• Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation and process improvement.

• Expertise in performance optimization of security solutions like Security Onion or Zeek.
• Familiarity with monitoring and data analytics tools such as Kibana or Splunk.
• Hands‑on experience with network packet analysis tools like Wireshark.

The pay range for this role is $23 - $53 per hour. This is not a guarantee of compensation, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
