Product Development Engineer III

We’re partnering with an innovative medical device engineering business looking for a Product Development Engineer III to play a key role in developing next-generation catheter-based technologies.

This is a hands‑on technical leadership role where you’ll own major parts of the product development lifecycle, from concept through commercialisation, working on complex, highly regulated products.

• Lead product development across complex catheter and minimally invasive device programmes
• Drive design verification, validation and risk management activities
• Own design transfer into manufacturing and support process development
• Develop advanced test methods, fixtures and prototypes
• Work cross‑functionally with Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing and suppliers
• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical work streams

• 5+ years in medical device product development
• Strong catheter, delivery system or steerable device experience
• Full NPD lifecycle ownership, from concept to commercialisation
• Strong understanding of design controls, ISO 13485 and risk management
• Solid Works, GD&T and test method development experience

Ideal backgrounds include interventional cardiology, structural heart, neurovascular or minimally invasive devices.
