Lake Region Medical, Inc. dba Integer Holdings Corporation seeks Process Engineer III, Molding Process in Brooklyn Park, MN.
Responsibilities- Design, detail, and implement molding process and equipment solutions that improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost for new and existing molding production lines.
- Develop molds, tooling, fixtures, and equipment used in molding to optimize productivity, maintainability, and cost.
- Apply scientific molding principles to perform mold tool qualifications, mold process characterization window studies, and molding process qualifications.
- Define, produce, and implement documents including engineering drawings, equipment qualifications, and process instructions.
- Troubleshoot injection molding machinery, mold processes, tool issues, and molded part problems using scientific molding tools, and develop corrective action plans with timelines.
- Collaborate with Design/Development Engineers, Tool Makers, Team Leaders, Technicians, Associates, Customers, and Suppliers to evaluate and influence designs and processes for manufacturability and cost reduction.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field (or its foreign equivalent) plus 5 years of professional engineering experience. Experience requirements: polymer product design; scientific injection molding process design; statistical and data analysis (minimum 5 years each). Three years of experience with technical project management and computer-aided design software such as Solid Works.
Compensation & Benefits40 hours per week. Base salary: $126,443 per year. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, adoption benefits, parental leave after one year, supplemental life insurance, critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, 401(k) with company matching, 80 hours of company‑designated holidays, and an annual allotment of paid time off.
