. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated early‑career engineer to gain hands‑on experience designing roadway and intersection improvements that make communities safer and more connected.
In this role, you will collaborate with experienced transportation engineers and planners while building technical skills in roadway design, traffic analysis, and public engagement.
Responsibilities- Perform CAD drafting and 3D design for intersection and highway improvement projects
- Assist with traffic and intersection capacity modeling and prepare reports summarizing results
- Support development of public meeting materials, including presentation boards and visual displays
- Collaborate with project managers and senior engineers to develop design solutions
- Participate in project coordination and team discussions throughout planning and design
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering by May 2026
- Interest in developing a career in transportation engineering
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous consulting internship experience
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam passed
- Experience with Bentley Open Roads or similar roadway design software

Benefits & CompensationSalary Range: $68,800 to $110,200, depending on experience and qualifications. Candidates with significant experience may also be considered for a higher‑level role with increased compensation.
