Responsibilities

  • Lead manufacturing transfer activities from existing production sites to the Minneapolis facility.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) and production ramp-up.
  • Review engineering drawings, assembly processes, manufacturing documentation, and validation records.
  • Develop and execute equipment and process qualification activities (IQ/OQ/PQ).
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) improvements.
  • Support Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), product enhancements, and component lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain, Production, and R&D teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing manufacturing support.
  • Participate in supplier qualification, process improvements, and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Train manufacturing personnel on new processes and engineering changes.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • 6+ years of mechanical or manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing transfer, sustaining engineering, or new product introduction (NPI).
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machining, fabrication, tooling, fixtures, and electromechanical assemblies.
  • Experience performing process validation and equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ).
  • Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD software, preferably Solid Works.
  • Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
