Role
Senior Plant Engineer providing technical support for utility and facility systems at Takeda’s Brooklyn Park site, ensuring manufacturing safety, reliability, and efficiency.
Responsibilitiestroubleshoot and optimize HVAC, chillers, boilers, water systems, and other utility infrastructure; support system lifecycle activities, capital projects, and validations; develop engineering deliverables and participate in cGMP change controls; monitor system performance for reliability and sustainability; collaborate with Maintenance, Facilities, Quality, Automation, and vendors; assist during audits and maintain compliance.
RequirementsBachelor’s in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical) with 3+ years of experience supporting plant utilities in a manufacturing setting; proficiency with P&IDs, process diagrams, and utility systems; experience with capital projects, system validation, and troubleshooting; knowledge of cGMP, OSHA, EPA standards, and familiarity with BAS, data historians, and CMMS preferred.
High Valueexperience in operational manufacturing environments supporting HVAC, clean utilities (WFI, clean steam), and dark/gray utilities; strong problem-solving and communication skills; ability to work in controlled environments, participate in 24/7 on-call support, and coordinate with external vendors; location in Brooklyn Park, MN, with occasional travel.
