Position Overview
The Human Resources Lead, People Processes & Regional Operations is a hands-on HR leader responsible for delivering high-quality HR operations across the Americas region. This role oversees core HR lifecycle processes-such as job changes, terminations, mobility, onboarding/offboarding, and data management-while ensuring compliance, data accuracy, and alignment with global standards.
Reporting in to the Head of the Americas Region People Processes, this position manages HR staff in the U.S. and Mexico and partners with senior leaders to strengthen HR capabilities, improve systems and processes, and support a high-performing culture. Strong HR operations expertise, stakeholder management, and the ability to balance global standards with local needs are essential.
This Hybrid position will be based in Brooklyn Park, MN, and will transition to Plymouth soon.
Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
Key ResponsibilitiesHR Strategy & Process Leadership
- Lead and optimize HR processes across the Americas region.
- Serve as process owner for assigned HR areas (e.g., job changes, mobility, terminations, data management).
- Ensure global standards are applied locally; drive process and system improvements.
- Represent the region in cross-functional projects and HR technology initiatives.
- Lead and develop HR operations teams in the U.S. and Mexico.
- Partner with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Payroll, Finance, and Legal.
- Provide HR process guidance to managers and support change management for new tools and workflows.
- Oversee smooth onboarding experiences.
- Support compliant offboarding and documentation.
- Maintain accurate employment records.
- Administer leave programs (FMLA, STD, LTD) and support workers' compensation processes.
- Partner on safety programs, incident reporting, and OSHA tracking.
- Provide HR guidance to employees and managers and support culture and engagement initiatives.
- Support annual compensation processes and benefits administration.
- Partner with payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Maintain compliance across multiple countries.
- Ensure HR policies comply with federal, state/provincial, and local regulations.
- Assist with policy updates, documentation, leaves of absence, and audits.
- Manage and maintain ISO related documentation; support in ISO related activities
- Maintain accurate data in Workday, Service Now, and other HR systems.
- Produce routine and ad-hoc HR reporting.
- Use analytics and AI tools to improve process quality and efficiency.
- Support HR system enhancements and implementation.
- 5+ years of progressive HR Generalist, HR Operations, or HR Manager experience; multi-country experience preferred.
- 2+ years of people management experience.
- Strong multi-state U.S. employment knowledge;
Canada/Mexico/LATAM experience is a plus. - Expertise in HR operations and employee lifecycle processes.
- Proficiency with HRIS and case management tools (Workday, Service Now preferred).
- Strong understanding of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organized, discreet, and effective at managing multiple priorities.
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, international environment.
- Payroll processing exposure/experience.
- Strong process improvement and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable using data, metrics, and AI tools to drive outcomes.
- Collaborative and able to build trust across diverse teams and leadership levels.
