At BRAVAS, we transform homes into extraordinary living experiences. As the nation's #1 luxury technology integrator, we design and deliver premium solutions - lighting, shades, A/V, networking, home automation, and more, that make life effortless, beautiful, and connected. We partner with homeowners, architects, builders, and designers on some of the most spectacular homes in the country. And we're growing.

The Role

The HR Business Partner is a strategic advisor who works directly with branch and functional leaders to align people strategy with business goals. This role goes beyond day-to-day HR administration - you'll consult on workforce planning, org design, and talent strategy, while guiding leaders through complex employee relations issues and change management. You'll be the go‑to HR voice in the room for the leaders you support, balancing big-picture strategy with the judgment to get into the details when it matters.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to assigned leaders, translating business priorities into people strategy and workforce plans
  • Guide leaders through organizational design, restructuring, and change management initiatives
  • Lead complex employee relations matters, including investigations, performance management, and conflict resolution
  • Partner with leadership on succession planning, talent reviews, and career pathing for key roles
  • Use data and people metrics (turnover, engagement, headcount) to identify trends and recommend proactive solutions
  • Coach and develop managers to strengthen their leadership and people management capabilities
  • Ensure HR practices and policies are applied consistently and in compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Partner with the broader People Team to design and roll out company-wide programs, then localize and drive adoption within your client groups
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on workforce planning and critical hiring needs
  • Support compensation planning and ensure pay practices are equitable and market‑competitive within your client groups
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience as an HR Business Partner or in a senior HR generalist role supporting leadership
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices
  • Demonstrated experience advising leaders on org design, workforce planning, and change management
  • Skilled at navigating employee relations issues with sound judgment and discretion
  • Comfortable using HR data and metrics to influence decisions

Excellent communication and coaching skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with leaders at all levels
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Paycor or similar)
  • A mix of strategic thinking and hands‑on execution; equally comfortable in a boardroom or working through an issue on the ground with a branch team
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while working at a computer
  • Frequent use of hands for typing, mousing, and general office equipment operation
  • Ability to communicate clearly via phone, video conferencing, and email with employees and leaders across multiple locations
  • Occasional travel to branch locations for employee relations matters, leadership meetings, or company events
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions
Bravas Benefits
  • Be part of something premium:
Work with the nation's leader in smart home integration.
  • Collaborative culture: A fun, supportive team that celebrates wins together.
  • Growth opportunities:
Gain exposure to the luxury design/build community and grow your career.
  • Competitive perks:
    Medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, and more.
